36th Ecumenical Community Canned Foods Collection On Saturdays, November 17 and 24 the Fall Community Ecumenical Food collection will take place in Leaside, Bennington Heights, Moore Park and Upper Rosedale areas. The collected canned foods are distributed to the downtown outreach centres of the Anglican, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic and United Churches. On Saturday, November 17th participants should go to Leaside Presbyterian church between 9:30am and 12 noon, to receive an area where flyers need to be delivered. On the following Saturday, November 24th this process is repeated. However collected canned goods are returned to Leaside Presbyterian Church. We need about 300 volunteers on each of 2 Saturday mornings: ages 8 to 80! Bring your whole family and some friends.
